knife sharpener
Small and easy to use. I was sick of having blunt kitchen knives so after a bit of research, plumped for this one. I use it more or less every time I use one of my knives now and they have never been sharper. I always used to sharpen my knives on a block, the old fashioned way but i didn’t ever get the hang of it and it was too much effort. The only down side for this sharpener is that when sharpening my serrated knives, the unit has come ‘unstuck’ from the work top and fallen on the floor. The serration seems to cause a bit of instability but that is only a small problem. Knife sharpener

steam iron
I have been used to using a cordless iron and spent a lot of time trying to find a decent replacement without success. Nobody seems to sell these anymore!? Previous experiences of irons with cords was that it was difficult to prevent the cord dragging across the clothing and making further creases. Having read the reviews this iron sounded ideal - and it is. It’s really easy to use - the most important feature is the cord stands up away from the iron by approx 3 inches which means that it doesn’t drag across what you have ironed. The cord is nice and long also. If I had to find anything wrong with it it would be the width of the handle - for those of us that have small hands it is just a little too wide which can cause some discomfort around the thumb area if you are ironing for too long. I hate ironing but I have to say this iron has made it a pleasure rather than a chore. steam iron

boat shoes
These shoes as at 9.2.08 are US SIZES! I’ve just had to return a pair of so-called UK size 9 which are labelled on the box as European 42 1/2 which is size 8 - 8 1/2ish! So you need to order a pair one size up. Other than that they are very good value. These will be my second pair of Rockport deck shoes - the last ones were worn most days every summer for the last 4-5 years. Comfortable, easy to slip on and remarkably hard wearing. Never go out of fashion as they were never in! boat shoes

hair clippers
This is my 3rd set of hair clippers over the last 12 years. They have proved to be very effective. After the initial charge, i have used them 3 times without further charge with confidence as they can be recharged whilst you continue to use them. Other reports mention they’re noisy, i found they were not noisier than others so overall - i am very pleased with the purchase.
Regarding the swivel head system, as its different, it takes a little getting used to, however after a bit of practice, you feel more confident in doing the back of your head yourself.
To summarise, a good product that is easy & quick to use with confidence, i happily reccommend this product.hair clippers

outdoor clothing
My jacket arrived this morning and I’ve just tried it on. It is absolutely superb - pistachio colour well represented by image, and very subtle. The quality and finish is great, the fabric is a good weight with a mesh lining and plenty of velcro on the storm flap. Hood is detachable and there are various toggles to provide a snug fit. I am a wide-shouldered size 14 and bought a large, which is perfect - tried it on with a lightweight hoody underneath and there was still plenty of room so ideal for layering. I’m tall and it doesn’t quite reach underneath my bum, but then I wasn’t expecting it to - the image is accurate. I can’t get over what a great bargain this is - I wish I needed another in a different colour! outdoor clothing

Fruit of the loom
This is the sort of product I wish we’d see more of; no unnecessary packing, fabulous quality and exactly what is to be expected from a ‘name’ outfit like Fruit of the Loom. All combined with a price that makes High Street retailers (and even most on-line ones too) look greedy.
Not what you might want for a present (lack of fancy packaging) but just for wear, and thats what t-shirts are for, exactly what you need. Fruit of the loom
